Anixter Center proudly presents its annual Soaring to Success Benefit Gala. The highly anticipated event will highlight “The Power of Design to Transform Lives.” It will feature a lively cocktail hour, dinner and an inspirational program. All proceeds from the Benefit will support Anixter Center’s mission of helping people with disabilities and related challenges live, learn, work and play in the community.
This year’s event will honor John Syvertsen, senior principal of CannonDesign, for the indelible impact he has made through his visionary work. An endless champion for civic engagement, John has been instrumental in CannonDesign's Open Hand Studio, which provides pro bono design services and community outreach activities. Since its inception, Open Hand Studio has helped bring fresh designs and renovations to many nonprofit organizations that might not otherwise be able to afford them, including Anixter Center. John’s vision transforms spaces as well as the lives of those who live, work and play in them.
