Get Real at SAE Institute Presents Tony van Veen

The SAE Institute Get Real series is pleased to welcome Tony van Veen the CEO and president of AVL Digital Group, which is the parent company of CD Baby and Disc Makers, to our campus on Monday, July 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Get Real series of lectures and workshops at SAE Chicago builds on the schools’ philosophy of exposing students to as much of the real world as possible. Martin Atkins our Dept Chair of Music Business will be chatting with Tony about changes in the business, distribution, and publishing. We’ll also chat about his own entrepreneurial path, the future of the business, drumming, the return of vinyl and what it takes to succeed as a professional in this rapidly changing landscape.
