Use Your ‘Energy’ and Save CrossTown Fitness’ on Earth Day

On the greenest day of the year, CrossTown Fitness invites Chicagoans to participate in nature-friendly and electricity-less workouts to honor Earth Day. Come April 22, the West Loop gym will turn off their lights, hit the pavement and run their high-intensity group classes using solely natural light, no music, and powerless equipment.

Trainers at CrossTown Fitness that typically rely on headsets, pumping music through the speaker system and speedy treadmills will lead workouts using the gym’s state of the art electricity-less equipment from medicine balls to kettle bells and take classes outdoors.

Members will thrive off of their own energy as they get fueled for the day during this unique workout experience. CrossTown Fitness water bottles will be available for purchase ($8) as walking to the gym is encouraged!

CrossTown Fitness classes are $25 per class or included in unlimited membership. Earth Day is on April 22, 2014. Classes can be booked through CrossTown Fitness’ online scheduling center.
