Public forum on parking to address neighborhood concerns

Voice your opinions, complaints, suggestions at the WPB parking meeting next week.

On Wednesday, June 26, the Wicker Park and Bucktown SSA #33 will host a public meeting and workshop with CMAP (the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning) on the issue of parking in the neighborhood.

The meeting will take place at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Public Library from 6 to 7:30 pm.

According to SSA #33 Program Assistant Beth Sholtis, the meeting will address community members’ concerns on topics ranging from parking meter prices to cyclist lanes, as well as the effects of the anticipated Bloomingdale Trail, or “The 606.”
