Bucktown Arts Festival Hits Holstein Park Saturday, Sunday

The annual non-profit event is back with 200 artists, plus musicians, dancers and performers.

The Bucktown Arts Festival is back for the 28th year, bringing more than 200 artists, musicians, dancers and performers to the neighborhood.

Located at Holstein Park at 2300 N. Oakley Ave., the non-profit celebration of the arts is free and open to neighbors from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

“Now in its 28th year, the Bucktown Arts fest has grown to become a neighborhood tradition and one of the city’s – and the country’s – premier arts festivals showcasing close to 200 participating artists, plus countless musicians, dancers, poets & performers and attracting more than 30,000 visitors annually,” the festival’s website reads.

Parking will be stripped starting 4 a.m. Saturday on the following streets. Any cars still there will be towed.

OAKLEY –  2150 North to 2400 North
- Both branches (East and West of the park) from Palmer north to Lyndale
- From Lyndale north to 2304 N. Oakley & 2305 N. Oakley (that’s north of Belden)

LYNDALE – 2200 West to 2400 West
- From 2200 W. Lyndale to the alley
- From 2234 & 2233 W. Lyndale to 2330 W. Lyndale & 2335 W. Lyndale

BELDEN – 2200 West to 2400 West
- From alley east of Oakley to 2316 W. Belden & 2319 W. Belden
