Lillie's Q Now Open with Fresh Interior (PHOTOS)

The popular barbecue restaurant is back open after a devastating fire destroyed much of the inside. But now it's back to picture perfect.

Those who haven't made the trek over to Lillie's Q in three months might not even know the tragedy that transpired—it looks exactly the same.

A fire tore through the popular Bucktown restaurant at 1856 W. North Ave. in March, causing Lillie's to close to rebuild. And now that it's finally open, it's clear the owner stuck by the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Lillie's Q opened on Thursday at 5 p.m., continuing its regular hours the following day.

For a while it was unclear whether owner Charlie McKenna would reopen, considering firefighters deemed the wreckage as "total damage." McKenna, however, was adement about rebuilding the North Avenue location.
